Exceptional Education at the Heart of the Community

Our Learning Spaces

Our children enjoy a balance of child-initiated and adult-led activities. They are encouraged to make independent choices and develop their critical thinking. The classroom and shared area has defined areas of learning and activities are inspired by children’s interests, requests and seasonal opportunities.

Children are regularly involved in musical activities, arts and crafts and opportunities to investigate, discover and experiment with their ideas. The children can access IPads and a range of ICT equipment.

Our children have access to a safe outdoor area, enclosed learning area, with a free-flow system in place. We use the outdoor area in all seasons. We also have access to the secure school field, where children delight in exploring the large open space; going on nature walks or simply having a picnic under the shade whilst watching our Alpaca’s grazing. Children are encouraged to take an interest in their world, care for nature and animals. We engage in activities such as bird-watching, discovering mini-beasts, growing flowers, fruit and vegetables. In newly designed outdoor area, opportunities are given for children to develop both their social and physical skills.
